Questions
Frequently asked
The things people ask before booking. If yours isn't here, just ask.
Booking
How do I book Sierra?
Use the booking form on this page. Tell me the date, the city, the room, roughly who's in the audience, and your budget range if you have one. You'll get a real answer — including whether it's a good fit — usually within two business days.
Where is she based, and will she travel?
Chicago, with Memphis as a second home market. Both are priced as local. She travels for everything else — travel-market rates cover the cost of getting there, and flights and lodging are quoted separately for longer bookings.
What does a show actually include?
It's a multimedia comedy show: stand-up, character work, impressions, and original musical comedy performed live on guitar. How much of each depends on the room — a corporate crowd and a late-night showcase get different builds of the same act.
How far in advance should I book?
The more lead time the better, especially for custom material — a commissioned song or a roast needs a few weeks to write properly. That said, if you have a date coming up fast, ask anyway. Sometimes it works.
What do you need from us on the day?
A microphone, a way to hear it, and somewhere to plug in a guitar. For larger rooms, a DI box and a monitor. If there's a screen available she can use it, but nothing in the act depends on one.
Corporate
Can she keep it clean?
Yes, and it stays funny. Clean and toothless aren't the same thing. Tell me who's in the room and what's off-limits, and the set is built to that brief — that's a normal part of the booking, not an upcharge.
Will she write material specific to our company?
Yes. Customised material is included in corporate performance pricing — there's usually a short call beforehand to find out what your team actually complains about. Larger commissioned pieces, like a full custom song or a roast, are quoted as custom comedy.
What's the difference between a performance and an icebreaker workshop?
A performance is a show — your team watches. A workshop is participatory: the room does exercises, and the comedy comes out of them rather than at them. Retreats and off-sites usually want the workshop; holiday parties usually want the show.
Coaching
Is comedy coaching only for people who already perform?
No. Some clients have never touched a mic and want to do one open mic without dying. Others have a tight ten and want a better twenty. Sessions are built around whatever you actually bring.
Do I need to be funny to get value from executive communication coaching?
No — and the goal isn't to make you funny. It's to make you clearer, more specific, and harder to tune out. The techniques come from comedy because comedians get immediate, brutal feedback on whether a room is still with them.
Are sessions in person or remote?
Both. One-to-one coaching works well over video. Team workshops are usually better in person, but remote versions are available — just say which you need in your enquiry.
Content
What's included in a short-form video?
Scriptwriting, performance, editing, captions, branding, and one revision. You get a finished, ready-to-post video — not a concept or a rough cut.
Who owns the video?
You do, for the usage agreed in your quote. Sierra reserves the right to share work in her own portfolio unless the project is confidential — just flag it up front if it is.
Why is the pricing a range?
Because a 60-second video shot in one room and a 60-second video with three locations and a cast aren't the same job. The range is honest about that. Describe what you have in mind and you'll get a fixed number.

No testimonials here yet —
because none are real yet.
Plenty of comedy sites open with a wall of anonymous praise from “Sarah T., Event Planner.” This one won’t, until there are actual named clients willing to put their name to it.
In the meantime, the clips are the pitch — and 310,000 people on TikTok are a reasonable second opinion.
Still got a question?
Ask it in the booking form — it goes straight to her, and you'll usually hear back within two business days.
